Qatar National Day

The celebration of Qatar national day started in 2007. The events included fireworks, cultural programmes and re-enactments of historical events. This year 2010 was the first year for me to join the Qatari nation and celebrate this day. It was great every thing was perfect the fireworks, dancing fountain and the decorated cars. Yet, there were some accidents that really scare us.

Happy National Day Qatar :)

Barcelona sign a deal with Qatar Foundation

Qatar Foundation.jpg

The Qatar Foundation  a non-profit organisation dependent on Qatar and dedicated to the educational and technological development of the country. "We are talking about a non-commercial organisation, a charity from a country that wants to make itself known through education and sport – one that, as you know, will host the 2022 World Cup," Faus said.

The deal reinforces Qatar's connections with the club. Barça's coach, Pep Guardiola, was an ambassador for Qatar's 2022 World Cup bid and Rosell also announced his support for the Qataris during a series of Aspire4Sport conferences coinciding with the Brazil v Argentina friendly international held in Doha last month. Negotiations, Faus said, had begun in August.
The question now is where the Qatar Foundation will appear. The club say the idea at first is to use the two sponsors together but, after this year, Unicef will not have preference; perhaps while Qatar appears on the shirt, Unicef will be on the shorts.

What was Fifa thinking ?

An inside story posted on youtube handled the story of Qatar 2022 bid, Qatar as nation that small country that a lot of people pick up the atlas to find where does this country located after the Fifa announced that Qatar will host the world cup 2022.

FIFA’s mission is to bring soccer to the world, especially those regions flush with fossil fuel wealth and conveniently lax ethical standards. Mired by multiple scandals, FIFA delegates voted to bring the game’s talents to Russia in 2018 and Qatar in 2022. The fishy choices resonate with the mantra that will be Sepp Blatter’s enduring legacy, “Straight Cash, Homie.”

Some people wondered if Qatar even have a team! will Yes, they do have a team.  Other talk about the heat is an issue and also if Qatar open country or Islamic, some are really worry about Alcoholic . The average temperature that time of year is 106 degrees, meaning it could get as high as 130 on the field. However, Qatar will be constructing all new stadiums for the event, with sophisticated air conditioning systems. The political situation in the Middle East will never be resolved without significant cultural exchange and dialogue. Hopefully, soccer can be a useful implement in that process.
